Fine Period Frames

Few original designs are evident these days among frame shops. What my clients see with my frames reflects a tradition of craftsmanship that has continued unbroken for centuries.

- Phil Reaney

A skillfully made, carefully selected frame protects and enhances the work of art it surrounds. A frame is a powerful structure that has a considerable impact on our perception of a painting. A frame must have enough character to enhance, but not to interfere with the works own colour, value relationships, and form.

When the right frame is put on a painting and the two are harmonious a resonance occurs. The two become one; there is no seperation.
